Alstroemeria Inca Rio

With glowing golden flowers and speckled centres, Alstroemeria Inca Rio is a bright and bold compact form of the ever popular cut flower. Featuring masses of upward facing flowers, these Alstroemerias will be full of flowers from Spring through till late Autumn.

Tough and reliable, Alstroemeria are drought hardy and will tolerate light frosts. These attractive clumping plants will flower prolifically for up to nine months of the year in most climates. Capable of surviving with little to no maintenance at all, these very long lasting flowers do not have a fragrance, making them ideal for growing in a picking garden or in a garden bed where their abundance of cheery flowers can be easily seen.

Alstroemeria prefers a full sun position in well drained soil, and in warmer climates a partly shaded position will be appreciated. Suitable for large pots or containers, garden beds and borders, Alstroemeria flowers best with regular watering during the warmer months, and an application of complete fertiliser in early Spring before the flowering season, and once again in Autumn to help them flush on into the Winter months.
