Ageratum Bumble Blue

Ageratum Bumble Blue delights with fluffy clusters of vibrant sky-blue flowers atop compact, bushy green foliage. Commonly known as Floss Flower or Blue Mink, Ageratum thrives in a sunny to partially shaded position with well-drained, fertile soil enriched with compost. It prefers consistently moist soil but not waterlogging, so regular watering is essential during hot or dry periods, especially for potted plants. Feed every few weeks with a balanced fertiliser to encourage lush growth and continuous blooms.

Remove spent flowers to promote new growth and maintain a neat, compact shape. While generally hardy, Ageratum can be affected by aphids, whiteflies, or mildew in humid conditions, so good airflow is beneficial.
