Adenanthos Silver Streak

Commonly known as the Woolly Bush, Adenanthos Silver Streak has a narrow growth habit making it perfect for screening and hedging, as well as using as a potted specimen. This stunning Australian native shows off delicate looking silver foliage that is extremely soft to touch, hence it's common name.

Perfect for a potted specimen, this gorgeous plant can be grown as a specimen in the garden and makes an extremely striking hedge plant; the small red flowers are a standout against the silvery foliage. Andenanthos is often used as a genuine Australian Christmas tree as the silvery background and red flowers look the part beautifully.

Suitable for coastal gardens, Adenanthos is hardy and drought tolerant once established, and tolerates light frosts. Prefers a sunny open position in a well drained soil, and copes well with poor sandy soils. A light prune after flowering will encourage strong new growth.
