These plants are an unknown colour but we do know they will be magnificent when they do flower; there may be large singles, semi-doubles and fully double flowers in various shades ranging from the palest eggshell pink, light pink or even a fabulous deep purple. We do know that within a year or so, each and every flower will be splashed with the darker colours towards the base of each petal that is a characteristic of this hybrid. (And this species is renowned for producing masses of gorgeously fragrant flowers so it will be absolutely spectacular.)\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eOnce we have flowered these beautiful plants we will be sorting them and selling as named colours but these early releases are about making space and sharing the wonder and joy that these difficult to find plants will bring to our customers.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe Tree Peony is the national flower of China and long revered as \"The King of Flowers\". They are thought to represent good fortune love and prosperity. These great shrubs provide huge blooms against the unique peony leaves. Tree Peonies require a cold wintering period to fully aid and promote new growth in Spring. Lots of lime improves the health and flowering ability of the Tree Peony so be generous with feeding. Flowering through Spring and into Summer they make an impressive sight. For best results Tree Peonies require a dappled shade position as full sun all day may cause burning to flowers and foliage and undue stress on the plant.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e**Please Note: we recommend that these plants are left in their pots until they die down in late Autumn as they severely resent being repotted while they are still actively growing.
