Philodendron Choco Empress

A larger growing variety, Philodendron Choco Empress is an extremely beautiful and collectible plant. Featuring deeply lobed foliage the emerging leaves are a stunning bronze colour before ageing to a deep olive green. A fast growing vase shaped specimen, Choc Empress is truly divine and will add the wow factor to your indoor display or sheltered garden.

An extremely exotic looking foliage plant, Philodendron are perfect for pots and indoor culture and they require a well drained soil and a brightly lit position out of direct sunlight. Preferring light humidity, Philodendron appreciate regular watering, but do not let the plant become waterlogged as this will cause fungal issues and most likely death, particularly during Winter. For best results fertilise regularly with a slow release fertiliser and repot every few years using a good quality potting mix for indoor plants. In warmer climates, these gorgeous plants will brighten up a sheltered shady position outside.
