This has certainly been a success with the most stunning colours and shapes now available.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eWith long slightly trumpet shaped and highly fragrant blooms growing out sideways from strong stems that reach to almost 1m tall, once established these bulbs can produce up to 20 blooms on each stem, and they have a great vase life when picked, making them a superb choice for cut flowers. These Oriental\/Trumpet hybrids are more hardy and cold resistant than either of their parents so they are now even easier to grow and enjoy.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eLiliums require a well drained soil; heavy or clay soils are completely unsuitable as the bulbs will run the risk of rotting. Protection from strong winds is recommended as their stems and flowers are easily damaged. Liliums prefers a full sun position and are ideal for growing in pots and containers.
