Parsley is great for using with other herbs, and will enhance the flavour of anything it is mixed with, and adding just prior to serving will lift the other flavours of the dish. And of course, this variety is often used as an ornamental garnish on plates, however it is the more bitter and strongly flavoured mature leaves that are used for this. When picked quite young and tender, Parsley has a mild 'green' flavour and softer texture. Parsley is an extremely easy herb to grow and thrives in most climates and soils. For best results and a milder taste, harvest regularly and grow in a well drained fertile soil and water regularly in warmer climates.
