Generally speaking the stems are twisted around in an attractive fashion or simply kept cut short to continue the illusion of the plant being a Bonsai specimen.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIn cooler climates or under stress, this oddity can be semi-deciduous, but generally speaking the bright green foliage will persist on this plant for the whole year.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eWhilst not technically a succulent, Fockea are best treated like one and requires a well drained soil or a succulent mix. Watering when the soil is dry is required in the warmer months while this plant is actively growing but less frequent watering is required during the cooler months.
