Ficus Tineke shows off beautiful green and white foliage tinged with pink, with new growth being developed inside a burgundy coloured sheath which falls off when the leaf is mature enough to unfurl.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eRubber Trees grow well in a warm position and will cope with gentle sunlight. Being a variegated plant, Ficus Ruby will need a fairly bright position to grow well but protection from the scorching sun is required as the foliage is likely to burn if left in the scorching sun. Reasonably drought tolerant, Ficus will cope with irregular watering and will look sad and a bit droopy when thirsty. Preferring light humidity, Ficus appreciate regular watering, but do not let the plant become waterlogged as this will cause fungal issues and most likely death, particularly during Winter. For best results fertilise regularly with a slow release fertiliser and repot every few years using a good quality potting mix for indoor plants.
