Sasanqua Camellias are the sun-lover Camellia that will flower heavily in Autumn and early Winter with a minimum of care, and the Japonica and Williamsii crosses flower from late Winter to Spring, adding a touch of colour when the garden can be a little dull. Lightly prune every couple of years to create density and maintain shape. Prefers a partly shaded position in well drained soil and regular watering during the dryer months.
