Kangaroo Paws make a great cut flower as they retain their colour and form for weeks in a vase. With bright green upright facing strappy foliage, they are an excellent plant for garden beds, rockeries or containers. Kangaroo Paws require a well drained soil in a sunny position, and if grown in pots ensure a potting mix for Australian Native plants is used. Protect from snails and slugs. In humid climates Kangaroo Paw can be affected by the fungal rust or ink spot disease.
