Rex Begonias are spectacular foliage plants prized for their incredible leaf colours, patterns and textures.
With striking combinations of green, silver, pink, red, burgundy and purple, these highly decorative plants bring colour and interest to indoor spaces even when they are not in flower.
Each Rex Begonia variety offers something different, from bold spiralled leaves and contrasting veins to metallic tones, unusual markings and dramatic colour combinations. Their compact growth and extraordinary foliage make them ideal for indoor plant collections, decorative pots and sheltered outdoor areas.
Rex Begonias prefer a warm, protected position with bright indirect light and well-drained soil. They appreciate humidity and regular moisture but should not be allowed to remain waterlogged. Protect plants from direct afternoon sun, which can damage their colourful foliage.
