Eucalyptus Baby Blue

A striking and highly ornamental small tree or large shrub, Eucalyptus Baby Blue is renowned for its distinctive, rounded, silver-blue juvenile foliage arranged in opposite pairs along the stems. Grown commercially for the florist trade, it’s commonly known as the Silver Dollar Tree or Silver-leaved Mountain Gum, thanks to the unique shape and colour of its leaves.

The silvery-blue foliage maintains its colour year-round, making it a standout feature in any garden or landscape. In late Winter to Spring, clusters of creamy white flowers emerge, adding seasonal charm and attracting birds and pollinators.

Excellent as a feature plant, screen, or cut foliage specimen, this Eucalyptus is often pruned regularly to retain its attractive juvenile leaves into maturity. Ideal for mixed borders, containers, or smaller gardens, it also performs well in coastal conditions. Thrives in full sun to part shade and prefers well-drained soil. Drought and frost tolerant once established.
