Westringia Zena is a compact, low-growing evergreen shrub featuring attractive grey-green foliage and soft mauve to white flowers that appear for most of the year. Fast-growing and hardy, it thrives in coastal conditions and sandy soils, making it an excellent choice for tough, exposed sites.
Ideal for low hedges, borders, shrubberies, or containers, Zena suits a variety of garden styles with its neat, rounded habit. It prefers a sunny to partly shaded position in well-drained soil and is both drought-tolerant and capable of withstanding light frosts once established.
To keep its dense, tidy shape, trim lightly after flowering.
Westringia are highly adaptable plants, well suited to a wide range of soils and climates. They perform particularly well in exposed or coastal areas and are both frost and drought tolerant once established. Exceptionally versatile, Westringia make a reliable choice for most gardens across Australia, thriving in nearly all regions except for those with very high humidity.
