Lycoris is a captivating perennial that produces vibrant, delicate flowers on tall, leafless stems.
These hardy members of the Amaryllis family remain dormant during the summer months, then burst into bloom in autumn, creating a spectacular floral display before their glossy green, strap-like foliage emerges in the cooler months.
Each flower features long, ribbon-like petals that curl gracefully, accompanied by prominent stamens, giving them a delicate, spider-like appearance. Lycoris thrives in well-drained soil and full sun to part shade and is highly drought-tolerant once established. Their long-lasting blooms make them a fantastic choice for cut flower arrangements, adding an exotic touch indoors.
Explore the Lycoris collection at Garden Express Australia and enjoy their striking, low-maintenance beauty in your garden this season!
