Also known as Guernsey Lily, these South African bulbs are the ultimate set and forget plants. Simply pop them into the ground during the Summer months whilst they are dormant and leave them well alone, and in the Early Autumn you will be rewarded with strappy green foliage and brilliant flowers on upright flower stalks. Best left to naturalise into clumps, will withstand long dry periods whilst dormant.
Nerines like well drained soil in a full sun position. Plant with the bulb neck above the soil level. They do not like to be disturbed, so they are ideal for pots and containers.
