Bromeliads typically grow as a rosette forming epiphyte that will produce pups quite fast allowing this clumping plant to become a feature in a short period of time.

Extremely hardy, Bromeliads will cope with all climates, and so long as they do not dry out will happily colonize the fork of a tree or anywhere a small amount of light sandy soil is available. Ensure water is freely available to the plant, and specifically, make sure the cup in the centre of the rosette constantly has water.

Bromeliads tolerate indoor culture, but ensure plants are misted regularly and fed with a liquid fertiliser every 6 weeks or so.
