Baby Gladioli

Baby Gladioli (Gladiolus nanus)

Discover the charm of Baby Gladioli (Gladiolus nanus), also known as Species Gladioli or Cottage Gladioli. These delightful spring-flowering bulbs produce elegant, orchid-like blooms in a wide range of beautiful colours and markings, making them a favourite for cottage gardens, borders, and cut flower displays.

Unlike the taller summer-flowering Gladioli, Baby Gladioli are naturally more compact, making them ideal for smaller gardens, containers, and mixed perennial plantings. Their graceful flowers appear from late spring to early summer, adding vibrant colour and attracting bees and other beneficial pollinators.

Easy to grow and reliable, Baby Gladioli thrive in a full sun position with well-drained soil. Once established, they require very little maintenance and reward gardeners with spectacular displays year after year in suitable climates.

Whether you're looking for soft pastels, rich jewel tones or striking bi-coloured flowers, our collection of Gladiolus nanus bulbs offers a beautiful selection for every garden style. Their long stems also make outstanding cut flowers, allowing you to enjoy their beauty indoors as well as outside.
