A stunning trouble free tree, Acer Trident Maple grows into a large spreading tree with a rounded shape. The triangular lobed leaves emerge in Spring as a bronze-red coour before ageing into a dark green in Summer and finally turning orange to red in Autumn, making this a wonderful feature tree for all seasons.

Trident Maples are a beautfiul and highly regarded ornamental tree that will create a wonderful oasis of shade in Summer. Suitable for a wide range of climates and well drained soils, the Trident Maple is relatively drought tolerant once established but will benefit from being watered extended dry periods. For optimum growth fertilise at planting time and every Spring once new growth appears. Trident Maples can be pruned to shape while young, and like all Maples, will make an exquisite Bonsai tree.
