Customer Service Team Member – Call Centre
We are looking for a customer service person to join our call centre team, ideal for an individual wanting to work school hours or shorter days. The position is 4.5 hours a day, three to four days a week. 9:30 to 2 (flexible). No weekends. Rostered on Friday and Monday are a must.

About the Company
Garden Express is Australia’s largest online and mail order garden supplier and has been family owned for more than 70 years. Our warehouse and nursery are located in Monbulk, Victoria. We send out plants, trees, bulbs and garden accessories via post to our retail customers.
We are looking to develop our team! We value hard-working, reliable and driven individuals that will join our family-owned business.
The call center currently has a team of 3 individuals. The role consists of being on the phones taking orders or queries and also answering emails from our customers. You do not require previous call center experience however; you must have a friendly demeanor and positive attitude. 😊
Duties will include, but not limited to
- Answering calls
- Replying to emails
- Debtor changes
- Troubleshooting
- Customer Credits
Essential criteria
- Able to work in a team environment
- Must be able to read and write English
- Intermediate computer skills
Desirable
- Plant knowledge/previous experience in the nursery industry
