Salvia Midnight Purple Collection
Pack of 5

Create a stunning border display and save 20%!

Our Salvia Midnight Purple Collection features 5 plants of this wonderful Salvia, perfect for edging a pathway or creating an impressive and long lasting flowering display.

Another delightful S.nemerosa cultivar, Salvia Midnight Purple (Salvia hybrid) is a compact grower that shows off dramatic purple blue flower spikes from late Spring through till late Autumn. Wonderfully fragrant, the tight clump of bright green foliage is well branched creating a lovely sea of green supporting the beautiful flower heads. Regular deadheading as the spires fade will encourage repeat flowering and will extend the magnificent display for even longer.

Ideal for perennial borders Salvias are a riot of colour from Spring through to Autumn. Usually quite drought tolerant and only needing watering during extremely dry periods these perennials are a very good choice for waterwise flower beds and difficult spots and will attract birds and bees into your garden.
A good pruning after flowering will ensure strong bushy regrowth for the next season. Most Salvias are suitable for a full sun to part shade position and require very little water once established. Perfect for pots and containers.

Supplied as a pack of 5 x 58mm advanced plugs.

**Planting out these advanced plugs is the best way of avoiding transplant shock and ensuring your plants settle in quickly and grow on well as the plants are young and fresh. Also, the root systems are healthy with no chance of the encircling roots that pots will encourage. Our professional growers have been using this method for years as it’s the quickest way of ensuring top quality plants and we are excited to be able to offer our customers the same.

Important Reminder: While we take great care in the realistic representation of our products, many variables such as climatic conditions, natural variation or manufacturing changes may affect the precise appearance of each variety. Generally, images used are of mature specimens whilst supplied stock may be dormant or juvenile plants that will develop with time. The images are intended as a guide only.
