We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Dispatch assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a love for plants and a desire to deliver exceptional service to our customers. This role involves the distribution of live potted plants to various locations, ensuring they arrive safely and in pristine condition.
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport potted live plants to various locations, ensuring plants arrive in perfect condition.
- Load and unload plant orders with care, following best practices for handling live plants.
- Inspect and organize plants before delivery, ensuring quality and freshness.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- Availability Monday to Friday 7:00am -3:30pm.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry potted plants of varying sizes.
- Good communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of plant care is a plus but not required; we’ll provide training.
- Attention to detail to ensure plant safety during transit.
